PGR4 - lost "feel"

Post by RichardK »

Is it me, or does PGR4 feel like the car physics are 'wrong'?

PGR3 behaved very well IMO - the cars felt like they had weight, which I know sounds strange but they responded in a natural, predictable manner.

PGR4 seems to have lost that :(

Nah it's just you richard  pgr never had proper physics, give it a bit more play time and you'll get back into it, i love the 1st person view, could spend hours driving round in the supercars, shame forza 2 missed out on that :(

try getting the xbox 360 wheel, the force feed back will add the wieghty feeling back to the cars.

I don't think it was proper physics, more exaggerated - it feels like Gran Turismo now, all wooden and overly shiny.

I'll keep playing (and I'm hunting for one of those wheels, the proper ones were recalled it seems) - but I think I'll have more fun with the new Burnout game in the short term :D
