The idea being to strive for for equal cylinder to cylinder exhaust flow so as to minimise cylinder to cylinder differences from residual gases.-

Frost do a UHT manifold paint that can be used on heat wrap for all you engine tarts out there.

Hi mate, i have been told by david the last owner that he has been told by anna
(the owner before him) that it is a Magnex exhaust system, and looking at it i think it is... i may keep the old system as i might not like the sound the new manifold and middle section will give.
but most likly i will keep it just incase when i do sell the car i think it will sell faster if it was all oringal or atleast with the oringnal manifold. as i tend to keep anyparts which i modifiy.. but i wil let you know mate. i know i wont need the middle section if i leave the new manifold on.

Yes it is a Magnex fitted on GUB and to be honest with you I think you are making the right decision keeping it...
I am not even sure my manifold is cracked, all I do know is that it's either leaking from the head gasket(which I replaced a short while ago so I doubt it ) or the manifold is cracked. It's not leaking from anywhere else, that I have proved. If it is cracked I can fit an NA manifold and drill and tap for a Lambda sensor.
