Got me ''baby'' back......

Post by AW11 Forever..! »

Last April I was forced to sell my belovered modified MK1 due to a house move and knowhere to store it....

Well....

She's back and looking just as good. Unfortunately the exhaust bracket snapped on the way up but Gary managed to get her here. A quick visit to Woodsport and it's all sorted out, thanks again Paul.....

What you up to mate :)

This is a fantastic car thats for sure and i would love to own it but am i right in saying that your now up to 2mk1s, 1 mk2 and 1 mk3.

You must really be in with Joannes mum as i presume she is letting you store some at her house.

By the way. Take that to France for def :thumleft:

Yea Jinx I was gutted when I had to sell her but we just didn't have the space. Shane ALL the cars are at my house so I can tinker till the morning sun, can't wait for the summer.

A few of you might remember I took this MK1 to Le Mans in 2006, absolutely faultless, I'm still not sure if it will be this or the MK2 for this years Le Mans, the MK2's got A/C and a DVD player, I might keep the MK1 for the Skye trip......

The bodykit is German and isn't available to buy ( at the moment ) I think its called Style Auto and the front bumper is called Veins. Talking to Paul @ Woodsport today and he has the moulds to make this kit along with the Veins front bumper and the original Style Auto front, so look out in the future for announcements from Woodsport regarding this kit.

The wheels are 17" TSW ( stealth ) with Yokohamas 205 / 45 and the exhaust was manufactured by Woodsport using a Lotus Elise S2 back box.

Glad you like it guys.... thanks for the nice comments ...........

Cheers

Hi Michael,
Spent quite a bit of time drinking with you and Mac at JAE
I had the white SC parked next to the bouncy castle.
Just got a new Vines bumper myself so will keep an eye out for the style auto kit as it pulls everything together nicely.
Anyway car looks great

Dave if you were drinking with me and pop's it would have been for a long time, good to hear from you again.

Are you putting the bumper on the SC, get some front fog's and clear front indicators to finish it off nicely. Post some pics when it's all done.

Cheers

Tis a lovely MK1 :thumleft: The ole Woodsy Lotus S2 back box throughly rate them :thumleft: had one on my car for a good few years now, in fact i went to Woodsys on the way to the Scotland trip to have a new one fitted & Paul wanted to have a play  after about 4 hours the only thing left of the MK1 exhaust was the flange that bolts to the manifold, this then joins a MK2 downpipe & flexi-joint which then joins the Lotus Elise box S2 box, then the twin exit arms were extended outwards :lover: which i love, its a total one - off not another like it :thumleft: !! i like it when Paul has his creative moments  Jinxy
