I wouldn't do the Ring on your bike unless you have a death wish :thumleft:

Quoted for truth.

Your first time at the 'ring it should be treated as a sight seeing tour, not a track day.

1000 euros a meter for armco remember...

Having done >50 laps of the 'ring in my MR2, my wifes Legacy B4, and on a ThunderCat, I can say that no lap rivaled that than the one on the bike. However, I would recomend the car first. I only went round on the bike after I had 10+ laps in cars and even then I still had problems remembering which way the track was going to head and spent most of the time letting everything pass me. Everything.

I would take the '2 but have a look at Ben Lovejoy's site first for tips and also do a search for 'just go faster' a forum dedicated to the 'ring.

Well the cat was a friends bike and I was in borrowed leathers too as I went down in the car with some biker friends and was not planning to ride the ring that trip. So, I kinda just doddled arround did a bit of straight line hero stuff and put in a ~13min lap. The bike was much better than I was :-$
