If you've a Rev1, you might strike lucky. TwosRus are doing them for postage only...!!

Unfortunatly its a rev 2 and im in need of the front tie bars either the bushes or a full replacement of the tie bars anyone know where i can get a set?

That a Rev2+ tie bar.

Think you'll be lucky to find bushes for that - i suspect it'll be a new tie bar. I further suspect you'll only get it from toyota and i lastly suspect you'll need a tube of vaseline.

Has anyone changed these bushes before? im having a few problems getting the old bushes out Are they a press fit? any help much appreiciated

cancel that lol press fit even the press struggled

To get the old bushes out you need to burn them out with a decent blow torch - very smokey and very messy.

Once the rubber's all gone, the bulbous metal tube in the middle will fall out and with luck you may be able to drift out the metal tube that contained the bush as there's a square cutout in it (you'll see what I mean when the rubber's all gone)

If it still won't budge, just hacksaw across that square cutout and it should pop out no probs.

Aftermarket ones (Prothane etc) should be a press fit - mine went in under finger pressure.

yea tis sorted now didnt have 2 many problems, about 10 mins on the press did the job fine, and less smokey lol, and the new 1's literaly went on with no effort at all
