Mk2 Rev2 Tubby Needs TLC £950

Post by Cerberus »

I have decided I cant hang onto my MR2 any longer it needs to go as our house is getting put up 4 sale soon.

Its a rev2 red tin top and completely standard apart from towbar (previous owner had a jetski) and clifford alarm/immob

about 2 years ago I had a shunt and the drivers side door had 2 be replaced but the body shop I used never quite got the fitment right as there is a slight scuff mark on the sill where the door rubs it.

The car has been SORN for a year as it was always a second car for me and due to financial changes I had to stop running it , it currently has 90k KM on the clock.

It would make an ideal project for someone who knows what they are doing , It never missed a beat in the 2 years i used it and was mechanically great.

I dont have the time to break it for parts at the moment so its getting sold as is.

£950 ono

PM me with any questions

Kirkintilloch.

Before anyone else asks the car would need to be towed away/trailered away as it has been sat still for over a year so there is no Tax or MOT

i asked the same question , it has been stood for over a year so the breaks will need to be looked at/replaced before driving it away

trade plates cover mot and tax iirc?

Besides the point though, is the car still for sale at all?

Cheers,
Alex

Trade plate do not make a car roadworthy, thats what a mot is for.

Book the car in for an MOT, drive straight to MOT station and you are legal to drive minus an MOT. Trade plates cover you for not having the tax. Job done.
