er.. yes, that was a bit of a moment, we didn't make it to the barrier :aghast:. It was followed a few laps later by a moment on the inside instead.

Have to say Jo, everywhere else was great, just a little too much speed into Hall bends.

Still, it's all a good learning process, and no damage done :+:

I wasn't aware of the second off at the same section in the same session - must be why the marshals were going to black flag her and why they were keeping an eye on me in my subsequent session :?
I didn't hear the full radio conversation as I was signing passengers on, but I was very concerned when one of the marshals said he was relieved the gold mr2 had returned to the padocks

It was far too close for comfort (in my books  - Maybe I'm just a wuss  )

opps! It looks worse than it felt

I just frogot that Bolly dosen't turn like Betty used to, and as Speedy said - too much speed going in was the main prob in the first one. The second one was me just trying to get a tight line, but took far too much kerb ( the kerb was much higher than i thought!) - so took evasive action on the inside and straight lined it to the track again.

didn't stall or anything, just slowly returned to the track. I also checked that the car was safe by returning in.

Ah-well, you learn by your mistakes - i sure don't want to repeat that again in a hurry.

Anyhow.......

What about everyone elses 'offs' then Garrick.....

As echoed above - A cracking day with loads of track time. Thanks to everyone who gave me passenger laps including Tom in his SC, Flatpack in the Supra and Lauren in the Teg. Thanks also to Dave who let me share the driving for the day: Much fun was had....
A few picks taken by me when I wasn't hooning around on the track...

Yes it was a great weekend. :D

Big thanks to Anna for organising the accomodation and to Kirsty for cooking us a delicious meal on Saturday.

Got plenty of tracktime and really enjoyed it despite the car misfiring. Roll on the next one :thumleft:

Here's three laps in my SC:
