[Mk2] [NA] Mongoose exhaust fitting now - help

Post by chiefymcchief »

Hi all,

Having a mongoose exhaust fitted today as a replacement for the original system!!

Car is a 91 rev1 (no cat) and was told that would just need the back box. Guy fitting it just rang me and said the old exhaust has an extra foot or so of pipe / box therefore the new system wont marry up.

Do i need a de cat pipe, even though the car never had a cat, to fill the gap??

Cheers

you could try one of these blueflame decat pipes its adjustable lots of different lengths of pipe might be your cheapest option or have a pipe welded to yours to meet new system :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
