Paul Woods (Woodsport)

Post by JOHNM400 »

Just browsing through this section really and thought i had to give Paul Woods a mention for the massive help he has been to me whilst ive been a member on here. 2 years ago i couldnt for the life of me get the handbrake up to MOT standards and failed the test about 4 times wasting money on test fees that i couldnt afford at the time. I was really on the verge of selling up until Paul gave me step by step instructions and advice and even offered to fix the handbrake free of charge as he knew i was in a mess money wise. I didnt take him up on the offer as i didnt think it fair he work for nothing. Still, with his excellent help i managed to fix the problem and passed the MOT.

I have had various problems since and everytime Paul is always happy to help. His knowledge of MR2's is absolutely second to none. and if i was to get any work undertaken at any garage in the future it would deffo be at Woodsport.

Im pretty sure the whole community already knows of Pauls immense MR2 knowledge and im just covering old news but thought it was the least i could do to say thanks for the help he has given me. Because of Paul,i dont fear any job whatsoever on the MR2 because i know hes always willing to help and will have an answer to the problem.

Basically,if your up around the Durham area or willing to travel there then dont look past Woodsport!

Second that as well mate. He's a great guy and obviously lives and breathes MR2's. I put a big thank you to him in the MR2 MK1 section, but maybe should have put it in here. Here's to Superman in disguise, good crack Paul!!

Absolutely brilliant guy ! :thumleft:
Knowledgable and skilled. He always takes the time to tell you what's going on and you always feel involved in the swap process.
Extremely fair with prices too, it was definitely worth travelling around 300 miles to get my swap performed.
He managed to perform the first V6 engine swap in a Mk3 outside of the states and the only 3VZ-FE Roadster in the world.
If thinking about a V6 swap, Paul is the guy who invented this stuff for the MR2 and is the best as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks Paul. 8)

If you can look past the whole ice pole fetish, he's a pretty decent guy.

Nobody else will ever work on my car!

Woodsport are THE MR2 Specialists. And they are sensibly priced, welcoming and the real genuinely innovative garage!

You don't bring the MK1.5 and the V6 to the UK without being talented.
