Run in with an Evo

Post by Azz »

Driving round the hills and there is an Evo 7 in front of me doing 30 in a 50 zone, I pull up to the back of it and he does not speed up so I pull out a tiny bit to look ahead for the over take and his engine goes up in revs

:-k 2nd gear me thinks,

I pop mine in 2nd and pretend to go for the over take and he puts the hammer down  and the back end nearly hits the floor.
so I sat right on his bumper setting my dump valve off to make the point I have power in reserve, and doing the most over exaggerated Yawn all the time.

Then I spotted the burger van that I was going to (as it does the best ever Double Cheese Burgers in the world) slammed on and pulled in. I half expected him to come back and kick off.

I changed at 6000RPM as I kept closing him down, if the road was longer and the police did not exist I would have made the point of over taking him, then done 20mph all the way down the road.

It grates on me when people bate you into an overtake, and floor it to make them selves laugh. I think he though he would make mince meat out of me as some single minded Evo drivers think there car is the fastest on earth.

If anyone knows Todmorden go to Gordon Riggs Garden Center, the burger van outside is sooper amazing, been going there for about 12years.

I put £700 of fuel in a Month, my nearest Shell (The only one i use) is 9 miles from my house.

Chance would be a fine thing.

Have you got a V power club card? worth getting one if you haven't already, you just need to use 300 litres or more every three months iirc to qualify so you could definately get one. You have to start off in the basic shell club card first though then they automatically upgrade you when thwey see that your motor downs pints of vpower for a laugh :thumleft:

Nice idea - but its quite shocking how much fuel you'd need to buy to redeem the points against anything, then again, i'd better not think just how much fuel i actually DO use in a month - it'll only upset me! :clown:
