Hi all

please help totally lost. Replaced the battery fitted a new one thought happy days lets go for a spin. Car wont start it turns over ok but wont start. Whats the orange battery light mean bottom left off the dash. Did search for it and cant find anything its coming on.

Terminals are tight, battery is in the right way round. All i have done is swap the battery.

what battery and what is the cca and amp hrs?

the cca is 470 and amp hrs 50

Same as the battery that was in it.

I am getting no spark at the plugs but get spark from the coil lead. Would this be the dizzy cap has gone. Car just wont start.

anybody at all have any ideas please. Car off the road all week and need it for work. Not a big fan off public transport [-X :lol:

very odd...i just bought a 720cca 75ahr aha battery..going to install tomorrow i cant see what the issue is with your battery unless its flat..did you place in the old one and try jump starting the car?

Aye tryed that and the car still wont start.

Its a brand new battery the charge on its fine.

New dizzy and arm coming if that dont fix it then there will be a lot off head scratching done.

Just wondering if the toad immboliser has anything to do with it. Being disconnected from power for so long has sent it crazy.
