Well I'm thinking the time has finally come to sell my black beast.

I injuryed my back several months ago and its not getting any better, and driving the MR2 definately isn't helping. So unfortunately, just like old Franky, I'm gona have to sell her.

So here she is:















As you can see she's pretty damn unique. Fully smoothed and blended one-off Veilside kit, rear wing imported from Japland, 18" Relic Gladiator chrome rims, FIRST set in the country at the time!

I REALLY dont wana sell her, but I'm just not driving her anymore as my back wont let me. To me she's worth £100,000 but have no idea what asking price to advertised her for...??

Thai, do you still have stock seats in it?

Although I'm a mk1 driver I had a problem with my back and I found my seats in the '2 aggrevated it. Easy answer change the seats. I have a pair of Corbeau recliners in there and now all is good. Seats do tend to lose there support with age.
Just a thought, but I suppose maybe the suspension might be a bit on the hard side as well.

...I use a CG-Lock to alleviate back pain when driving. Holds me in place nicely and forces my back back against the lumbar support to stop me 'slumping' in the seat. It's an amazing difference. Thought you might be interested...

...otherwise, nice car mate. I'm not too fussed on the front end but it's all personal flavour and it does look damn smart. A lot of effort gone in there.

Damn right I have mate. LOADS of time, effort and money gone into her over the years.

I've tried different back supports etc...and spending £1000's on Osteopaths and Chiroprators over the past 2 years. Its when I was using the MR2 to drive to work all the time, doing 500miles a week in her just screwed my back up.

When I got the kit originally fitted yeah mate, getting it looking like that is 7 stage process! Only the best for my Tubby Matty!

Its not really just that mate, its the ride height, suspension, seats, driving posistion etc...I love the car but my back sure doesn't.
