Bought 2100 points from GAME on Tuesday. Got it home, opened it up, removed the card.....the glue on the back of it rips off the end of the numbers!!

Get my girlfriend to take it back the next day for me as I was working...GAME can't do anything about it and tell her to phone Microsoft, give them the number on the card and they will give me a new number....job done.

NOPE.

Phoned then today....get Dirka-dirka-mohamed-gihad on the phone....

"No we can't give you any points, if you can send us the card or take a photo of the damaged card and email it to us, we will look at it and decide what to do from there."

You can imagine my reply..............

Its the whole Microsoft system. They employ these muppets and have their 'system' put in use.

How do the helpline know you're not lying?

From you're original post it looks like all they are wanting it a picture as proof that what you're saying is right. I'm sure they get people trying scams all the time.

Why not just send them what they ask for, they're not asking for any money by the sounds of things. It's not unreasonable to ask for proof, I would if any parts we sold were damaged in my business.

I've already done it mate. Sent them photos straight away. Just the fact that GAME said this has happened a lot in the past, phone Microsoft, give them the number, they give you a new one. Job done. Didn't happen.

Sent Microsoft the pics of the damaged point card.....got f**ked off so went down to GAME and demanded my money back....they gave me a full refund.

....just got an email from Microsoft....they are adding the 2100 points tomorrow!

LOL still hate the company tho!!
I dont know what it is, i mean the 360 is a good console, i love the xbox live arcade. Admittedly I now a fan of a lot of the titles anyway but i can tbring myself to buy one.
