1986 Mk1 Mr2 For Sale

Post by Tonester »

Hi
For sale is my 1986 Mk1(a) Mr2, it has 138k on the clock, but has had a recent engine transplant, the new engine has only done 96k.

The body work is in tip top condition, exept from the drivers side rear arch, it has started bubbling, it looks worse that it is, thanks to the blokes i work with picking at it, ha ha  (will include the replacemt arches, i just dont have the time or the money to get fixed.)
Very good conditioned paintwork, what you can see from the pictures, very shiny :)
The interiour is very clean, comes with the two tone seats, no rips or tears, and minimal wear on the drivers seat (head rest), comes with a brand new cd player, cant remember the make off the top of my head, ashtray is perfect, recent new windscreen.
The car is fitted with 4 15" alloys, all with new tyres, less than 1k on them, one wheel is curbed pretty bad(picture), thanks to my awsome parallel parking, and forgetting the new alloys stick out a tad
I have a recentally new janspeed stainless steel exhaust system fitted, and it sounds awsome, especially twined with the K&N Air filter.
The underneath of the car is sound, i will, if i have time lift it up with the forklift, and take some pictures.
the engine, was fully serviced and new petty much everthing was put on, new magnecor ignition leads were also fitted, just to give the engine some colour, as i ran out of time and still havernt painted the letters.
the car has MOT untill the end of june, and tax untill the end of February.
I have history, for about 10ish years, and a few receipts.
all in all this car, looks and sounds great.
The only reason for selling my car, is just because i cant afford both the car and my motorbike(getting a new one) and i prefer riding a bike than driving a car, so unfortunaly this has to go, to fund for my new CBF.
any questions PM, or phone me.

If you're not prepared to give an idea of the sort of figure you want then I don't see how you can expect potential buyers to take a serious interest in the car.

Those replacment arches are not designed for a Mk1 although with fettling they can probably be made to fit.. I could be wrong but they may be from a Nissan Cherry, cheap as chips.
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

always wanted a mk2 ha ha.

i dont need a new bike, i just would like one.
if i keep the same bike i got, i can afford the insurance for a car and bike :O
just cant afford both if i upgrade my bike, as im only 19.

but i would prefer to sell, less hassle then.
