[Mk2] [NA] sills

hi guys drivers side sill starting to hole was thinking of cutting out bad bit and fitting an offcut from a new sill only prob is i cant find a supplier any body no where i can get a new sill from #-o ](*,)

its a 1990 g limited na import drivers side :D

Mr T or try JeffD. About £70 for a 1m long repair panel from T.

Pt No. 61411-17050, "Panel Rocker Outer". But can't remember what side that corresponds to (I can just make out the label on an old random photo I've got).

hope your good at welding otherwise be prepared to add around another £400-£500 to that price :-k

I paid £500 each side including inner and outer sill panels also got the underneath stripped and 3 coats of underseal done so call it 1000-1200!!!!! :)

I'd defo recomend it being done mate as winters will speed the rust cycle up quickly!!!

are you guys on drugs lol
we are talking 2 hours with a mig on the outer sill small patch 4 inches by 12 inches if thats the price you guys are paying i think i will go into buisiness welding mr2s lol

so your only welding a small patch,

we thought you were replacing the whole sill's #-o

I had a bodyshop do a little patch in front of the rear wheels... £70 welded in and sprayed. Jobs a good 'un. :thumleft:

yeh just a small patch guys god you had me worried lol
im into painting so only need welding done hopefully wont cost to much :lol:
