[Mk2] [Turbo] Clear indicator + orange bulb

Post by matt*79 »

I have just changes my front indicator lights to the clear type.

Orange bulbs seem to have a different bayonet fitting than the bulb holder....does anyone know whether there is an orange bulb out there that will fit / or do i need a new bulb holder?

Cheers :)

I got silvertec ones which appear silver but flash orange. You can get them with offset/ parrallel pins.

As others have said, there are 2 styles of bulb- standard and offset where the locking pins are offset, 1 nearer the base, and one nearer the actual glass bulb.
Silvertec bulbs are the best, they look silver, but flash orange and last a long time- not cheap tho, ~£15 for 2 8-[ You need the offset type
