My boot lid was jammed down beacuse the release cable had jammed in its sleeve so even the key wouldnt work![]()
I ended up drilling the barrel out then replacing it

Then£12.50 for a locksmith to match it to my other keys.
There is a black plastic tab in the centre of the panel prettyu much where the lock catch is (not the barrel/lock). If you remov ethis and use something like a screwdriver and a good dose of patience you should be able to trigger the release mechanism and pop the boot.lol this thread is kinda a help to me, locked my keys in my boot.ive smahed my centre panel off but i dont see a hole lol, plz help
