Personally I thought the first one was rubbish, slow paced, dated grapics, dulled charater movement and response and hugley predicatable (you knew when you were going to be jumped). Was about as scary as a ham sandwich!

Mate you obviously played another game!!

Condemned is one of, if not THE scarest most atmospheric games out there!

Graphics could have of been improved yeah but play it on your own in the dark in 5.1!

personally i didnt find it very scary either, now my mate who played it also was jumping everywhere

It wasnt as good as fear but I did enhoy the story, the atmosphere and most importantly some of the original touches. Like the forensic tools etc and finding clues and stuff.

Not what what the hell happened at the end if I'm honest though lol.

This game didnt grab me at all. Scariest bit was the house near the end and that was more frustrating than anything. Just found it was a case of plodding around, thumping someone in the face, moving back as they try and hit you and doing it again. The AI was soooooooo dumb as well, killed the psycho chef thing just by walking around the table repeatedly.

I agree the end was random!

Would like to try fear though, has anyone got it to sell or swap?

It's on play for £17.99 IIRC and as Thai knows - its's my favourite game. xxxx your pants scary in a dark room with 5.1!
