This is a bit irrelevant to the cams but how much power can the afm flow?

mounting the thottle on the end is the only real safe option.
if looking for more power this is one of the last things to worry about.
the body is not the bottle neck in the system nothing a bit more boost or better flowing turbo cant sort out or downpipe etc.
