One persons opinion obviously can greatly differ from someone elses.

I think it would be good to see how "good" the stock ones are when cleaned out properly.

I'd like to try out some of the new VW ones. Are washer jets compatible like that? :?

received the jets yesterday jeff thanks.

been looking at these and im thinking if i cut the clips down enough with a hot knife then it should allow room to use 2 rubber seals on there instead of just the one,

cutting the bootom one in half so just using the bottom seal at the front of the jet might give it enough lift as were talking 2mm and the jet but hopefully over the distance between the windscreen and the jets should give it enough lift to cover the wipers and hit the window properly

i will report back when i have done it :)

er I noticed yesterday with the yaris units I don't get the screen wash on the drivers side window. Was nice being able to still see out of that window. Dunno if it was just my car that did that trick before :-k

dont get too excited guys pmsl i was on my mobile hence the short post :)

ok firstly when looking at the yaris clips you need to get a knife and cut where they join cause as they come you cant squeeze them but once u cut the plastic with a knife you can then remove the jets if needed. as pictures below
Image

then use your old rubber seal once you remove the old jets cut the seal in half glue the the front bit to each jet to slightly lift the front of the yaris jets slightly then install as normal :)

end result been this

edited with a better quality youtube vid

i must say jeff with slight modification above they make a hell of a diference and in my eyes i think you should stock them :)

Just seen video - very good. However, whether its just me but even on your modified ones it looks like the initial spray just goes into your wipers - especially on the drivers side?......

I will have another go tomorrow at getting them off - whjat I would really like to see is a video with one original (whiuch has been cleaned by soaking in malt vinegar) on one side and the Yaris on other.

Yaris Jets 1 - the prequel :-)

any idea where i can get the Bosch Aerotwin Flat wiper arms from? do you need adapters or is it a straight fit? fitted these to my old astra and they were amazing

this yaris sprayer jet is a worthwhile mod, cant see bu88er all on the motorway at times...ill stick it on my 2do list :)

Gotta admit that does look a lot better than stock jets.

Rob could you get a pic up of the jet as you installed it with the cut made and the extra rubber on it?

You need to buy the retrofit version, they'll fit the normal hook wiper arms.
