Hello everyone the names ian and i reside from the lovely county of essex. I enjoy long walks in the park and chats about flowers....on the serious side im interested in mr2's and plan on purchasing a turbo in feb. Ill be 21 so insurance wont be too much of a sting and i think its time to move on from my hyundai accent :D

How many peeps on here from essex? Im from sunny southend :lol:

Just thought id introduce myself before i bombard you all with questions in a few weeks or so \:D/

Hmmm.. insurance will be a sting :lol:

I'm 26 and mine still seems steep.. about £700 IIRC.. (I really should know that :lol:)

Welcome to IMOC, hope you can find a nice one.. Mk2 tubby is def the way to go, much much fun to be had! :D

the best quote ive found is 1040 a year and thats fully comp, 2yncb, mum as named driver. not too bad tbh. I can live with that. Insurance on some cars is astronomical in comparison

Yeah, thats very true.. you'll probs find it drops a bit after the first year.

My insurance was alot higher on my '2 for the first year, even with 2 years no claims and being 25.

They weren't too keen that my only previous car was a 106 either :lol:
