[Mk2] [Turbo] blitz dump valve opening

Post by zakkz »

Wondering if anyone could help...

I noticed that I was getting boost leak - I have an AVCR and the boost wasn't holding.

At idle, when I put my hand infront of my blitz ss dump valve, I could feel the air escaping.

Is there any way to remedy this? Or is my dump valve knackered?

Apologies for the slightly noob-ish post if I have gotten anything wrong!

HI MATE I RUN A BLITZ DUMP VALVE AND IT LEAKS ON IDLE ALSO, I DONT SUFFER FROM ANY BOOST LEAK OR LOSS OF POWER, CHECK UR DISI AND ROTOR ARM, GOOGLE SEARCH MR2 TURBO FAQ AND HAVE A LUK ON THERE, ITS VERY HELPFUL

My Blitz was FULL of crud when I got it! I took it off, took it apart and cleaned it all back up, regreased the piston and popped it back on, you might just have a build up of cack in there, worth cleaning it before binning it! 8)
