MR2 Turbo - Project?

Post by antd »

***SOLD***

Hi Everyone,

1990 MR2 Twin Entry Turbo

Here I have my MR2 Turbo for sale. I have no idea what to sell this for as it has a lot going for it, but also a fair few bad points. I bought it 5 years ago and only used it for a bit, I bought it in the condition it's in now, planning to tidy it up, but no money and a marriage break up stopped me!

It has been standing for about 3 years, just have had no time to work on it or use it.

I will briefly list good and bad points to my best knowledge.

Good points:

Black! Polishes up gorgeous
Low Mileage Twin Entry Turbo Engine - 80k miles - So quiet and fast
After Market Dump Valve
Black Leather/suede seats
Small Sports steering wheel
5inch stainless silenced exhaust
rev 3 rear lights
300bhp (uncomfirmed)
Very expensive 17" deep dish alloys
Mint Kenwood cd player
Corners like its on rails!
Turns heads everywhere! Looks the part
Private plate - worth £500
Expensive Clifford alarm, starts car remotly etc - needs attention though

Bad Points:

Body work in places needs attention, wouldnt take much to get this looking up together
17" deep dish alloys - 2 need attention, curb marks
Limo Black Windows - pass MOT?
Needs 2 x new seatbelt retractors
Very very low and hard suspension - not for people looking for comfort!
Slight knock from rear wheel when turning full lock
I believe this car was once red, you can see it under slightly under one arch. I must say it cleans up gorgeous though.

This car must go to a good home, and with some attention would make a fantastic car

Would like to hear if anyone is interested to view?

I'm located near Basingstoke in Hampshire

I would be very happy with a grand, I don't think I could go lower...it would hurt

I know with some money and attention this car would easily be worth £2500 +

Hi guys

Had amazing response to this, so thanks!

Ross came along first, so I thought I would hold off to see what he thinks, but he can't view until Wednesday.

I need a quick sale (sorry dude) so this is now a first come first serve sale.

I will not take offers without you viewing it first, as it does need some attention as I mentioned!

Cheers
