[Mk2] [Turbo] NO SPARK!!!??? (now resolved)

Post by andydurham »

Car has been running lumpy, like small misfiring for the past couple of days. Went to start it this morning and it wouldn't, not even a hint of firing. Checked and there is no spark! Any suggestions?

Haven't done a diagnostics check yet, but there is no engine management light on so this suggests there is no error?!

I have changed the plugs for a brand new set and still no spark!!

HELP ME!!

Cheers
Andy

Start tracing it.

Start at the ignitor, if there's spark, follow it until there isn't, then replace the busted component! easy :thumleft:

If not, work from the ignitor back :thumleft:

Cheers, I'll try when i get home. I'll be able to see the spark better in the dark!
