Steve's 1.5 SE build thread
Seeing how a lot of mk1 club folks dont read TB i thought id share the build thread here as well, steves SC SE will be the first one in the world converted to 3s-gte power and promises to be a very special car.We usually do build threads on TB to cover every conversion we do but this ones a little special so i thought it would be a good idea to detail it here as well with step by step pics and a full write up of everything so you can follow along.

Re: Steve's 1.5 SE build thread
is Pete`s being done at the same time ?
Re: Steve's 1.5 SE build thread
Thanks Paul for doing this. I'm very interested in what these two are doing and what's involved. I'll be looking at the finished cars and hearing what Steve and Pete think of their upgrades ...and your pics will be fascinating. Please include Pete's upgrade to SC if you can.

Can you install a homeing beacon in Steves car, so we can find him when he gets lost, a sort of worldwide GPS system will do, he could end up on any continent when he leaves your place Paul , Jinxy

Yes Paul, please detail Pete's swap too.
Yes, I must have a ride in both cars too ...Steve and Pete. Know I lost my way last year buying a Mark 2 but I'm missing the Mark 1 experience a bit.
(echoes of ..."told you so...")
Re: Steve's 1.5 SE build thread
Excellent idea - Thanks Paul
I have been asking members doing conversion to post up the progression on the club forum, but for some reason, many have thought it would be conflict of interests
Good on you mate
