True True. :) Whats FTW mean? Im probably being thick since im half asleep today!

They got those gift things where you can drive other cars, they should have included the MR2 as well as the scoob! :)

http://www.gettingpersonal.co.uk/gift.a ... t-pack.htm

Probably because their scared their more likely to kill themselves when you have to "actually" drive the car and not let it drive you! :)

Still wouldnt mind taking the Ferraria, porche and lotus for a spin! :D

And also of course the Lamborghini: (one I want to the most!)
http://www.gettingpersonal.co.uk/gift.a ... e-gift.htm

and the F1 car:
http://www.exhilaration.co.uk/Experienc ... o_F1_Drive

Sorry, went a bit off topic there! Was just looking for gift ideas for my old mans bday and found some I wouldnt mind doing myself!

Bit interested in seeing what 500+ bhp feels like now Im use to 220!

Isnt there some peeps who have managed to get their 2's up that high? Jeez, that would be a death trap for me!!!

he beat me :(

And you have a rev3 with mods! Whats yours putting out mate? Any idea what the scoob is putting out then? Did it have mods too?

mine is sub 300
scoob was modified too but no idea on mods
it was a shared drive and one of the drivers was consistently beating me and i was consistently beating the other
in my defence, the guy who beat me was an experienced sprinter with many years experince at this track :oldtongue:

Just out of interest anyone know what sort of figures the latest STi puts out (no not the abortion of a hatchback the one before)?? I had an encounter with a fettled one last week and was a bit dissapointed he pulled a good 2 or 3 car lengths on me pretty quickly coming off a roundabout :(

I think that the 2.5 was the latest WRX STi blah blah .. and I'm sure screamer pipes are not on the Prodrive options list.

I managed to beat a stock one a few months back in the wet. Don't think he expected to pull up next to the fastest hairdresser in Reading ;)

I respect what they can do. But I still wouldn't have one.

But the Scooby was probably 1/2 the way around the roundabout before he put "his" foot down whereas you were waiting for the road to straighten out a little.

Don't be too down hearted that it pulled away on you. 4WD offers so much more traction in the current weather conditions as to make the tubby look silly. I can't even begin to use full throttle until I'm into 3rd gear at the moment.

I did have an erm, entertaining moment against a new model scooby a couple of years ago in my GT4 and as we were both 4WD he couldn't lose me :) Currently anything more than 1/4 throttle results in wheelspin aplenty :( God I miss 4WD lol

Tis true I did dawdle on the roundabout its quite heavily banked/cambered and as we took the first lurning left its not a nice transition at speed going from flat to off camber to flat whilst turnung lol

My Friend Alex has a 05 plate WRX, just spent 1200 quid having a "chip" fitted and boost raised to 18psi .... YAWN!

my 17 year old Rev 1 pulls much harder at 12psi and that pi$$ed on his chips, we are both of to the 'ring in may with a Evo 6 and a few 200 sx and a VAG 1.8T Renault 5  I'll see if i can out drive him and give him a hair cut at the carrousel's!
