Due to a rather nasty list from the man at the MOT place I can't afford to keep my 2 on the road so it's time for it to go to someone who can, or who has the time/patience to break it for parts.
It's a Mica Blue 1991 Rev 1 MK2:
No modifications, even standard alloys.
Bad bits are that it failed on:
-- Offside and nearside seatbelt anchorage prescribed area excessively corroded. -- The sills on the outside are rusted very badly though the rest seems ok.
-- offside front brake pipe excessively corroded
-- front brake application uneven
-- offside and nearside rear parking brake showing little or no effort, thus efficiency below requirements
-- (front pipe flex) exhaust system has major leak of exhaust gases
-- front wheel brakes imbalanced.
It got advisories on:
-- all four discs being pitted
-- rear anti-roll bar links worn
-- rear body flex bars corroded
-- radiator top hose leaking
Other miscellaneous bad points:
-- previous owner clearly slammed the bootlid on something large bending it slightly, still shuts but doesn't sit square.
-- paint work on the bonnet is chipped and tatty in places
-- small rust patch coming on the rear passenger side wheelarch.
Last bit of bad news is that the old MOT ran out today, though the tax is good until the end of Jan.
In the last year it has had a new radiator and pipes front to back, it also had a new headgasket 18 months ago and a new cambelt at the same time.
I'd like to see £250 for it as that would pay back most of what I paid for the rad and pipes. Though not sure if that's hoping for too much. I'm based in Deal, Kent.

Right I've had people interested who've not actually come forth and taken away so what with having had enough I'm open to offers of whoever wants to come round and take it before it heads to the scrap yard.

Can't break it, won't have the space in a few weeks, the drive is coming up and existing garage coming down to build me a nice big garage.
