2008 MR2 Mk1 Club Calendar - update pg 4 (price etc)

Jo / Max,

What is the size of the Calendar? How many people do we need to make this go ahead?

It will be going ahead no matter what.
I just need a rough idea of how many to ask for, plus a few spares

i am hoping for a price well below £10, for A3, but have had no quotes yet (I'm hoping the cd will be in the post box when i get home ).
i may end up A4 to keep a sensible budget.

basically i want the main pics to be A4 landscape, the quote may determine if the binding is in the middle (A4 sheets) or at the top (A3 sheets)

Thanks to everyone who voted ( 12 ) for Max's picture of me and Jo driving. Crazy Max was hanging out the car backwards at 90 mph taking that picture, I think its a brilliant shot. It didn't make it onto the calendar but its a truely amazing picture. Cheers..

Agreed, definitely one I wish had made it on there myself... Thanks though Michael! Probably shouldn't say this, but I've done crazier things just to get a specific shot I've thought of...

I would also like to thank all those who voted for my car too, i was certainly surprised by the outcome & equally surprised that some cars didnt make it into the Calandar Thanks must go to Max & the rest of the team for their sterling efforts in getting this project off the ground especially as i know Max has little free time to himself these days, well done to all !! < jinxy

Cheers Jinxy! I finally had a 'free-ish' weekend this weekend just gone! (first time I was home all weekend since August!) Woohoo! Finally the MR2 got a bit more work done on it!

As Jo has said, we're hoping to go for an A3 size - at least that's the size that I worked to when I was producing the pages... (hence the requirement for high resolution images)

I put mine up for it but not enough good piccies but once the turbo goes in, i might get in it next year, thats as long as 1.5's are allowed!

As far as I'm concerned any Mk1 is allowed...
If not, we'll have to have an 'alternate' one...

Yup, unfortunately I couldn't do anything with yours Steve, however next year I plan to sort this out by getting a few decent snaps of the 1.5 SE myself...

that's a MK 0.5 isn't it? should have left the engine in and hooked it up so you had two motors pushing you along. Mind you, you wouldn't be getting much extra cargo space... hmmmn. would be fun though trying to control it. do it, and take some pictures of the chaos that it causes for next years calendar.
