Just added some new bits

Post by Jamitsi »

Just added some new bits to my MR2
Bomex copy front lips spoiler (very impressed with the fit of this. only had to drill some new holes to get the original mounts, (minor and quite easy to do.)

Rev 5 rear spoiler

and also fitted some Bi Xenon HIDs which give HID on both main and dipped beams., the light is fantastic. i have HIDs on the FTO and used to hate the yellow look of the MR2s lights. first time i went out at night i was gob smacked at the improvement.

you can see the diffence in white and yellow from the lights to the fog lights.

sorry for the bad pic quality

got it from Japan. i say its a bomex copy as thats what it was stated as. :?:
but it is a good fit and i think it looks good. :D

as for fog light bulbs looked on ebay for a few. might end up gettiong some but a yellower light is better for foggy/bad weather. a you shouldn't drive around with your fog lights on all the time. [-X

i got it from Japan, and it was advertised as a copy, it doesn't have any id marks on it.
however it is a great fit and came primed, just had to do some minor smoothing out as there was a few imperfections, and had to drill a few more holes to get the standard look fit,
but got there in the end :thumleft:
just need spraying properly as i have only done a lite coat with a can.

our cars look identical from the front end :D , we even have the same size number plates.
and your only up the road,
but you paint does look good, will be getting mine in the bodyshop in the new year \:D/
