Sorry for the delay on this, finally got round to checking my mod.
I don't have a pic as its not necessary and wouldn't have been very useful, but its very easy.
With the blue box removed from its metal clip, and with the loom disconnected, look at the white socket on the box. You will see all the pins and they are numbered on the white plastic. You have to cut pin 6 inside the box, that's it!
If you want you can solder 2 bits of wire to either side of the pin you cut and add a switch to make things easier when changing bulbs etc.
thanks for this m8
but i do know how to do it the problem is the my white plugs has no numbers so i don't know which one is number 6wire so do not want to cut the wrong wire
hence wire i need a picture
Bit late but its this one (if you can see it ) Turn the box over and its the top left ,the numbers are on the inside of the white plastic plug ,if you unplug the connector you will see them (just)
ok I think I can see where the confusion is.
I took the box apart and cut the pin that went down to the PCB. You were talking about simply cutting the wire that comes off the connector, outside of the box. Guess its up to you which you do.
I am pretty certain if you take off the connector that is shown in the above pic, you WILL see very small printed numbers on the white plastic next to the PINS not WIRES. HTH...
