I went for the full set of weatherstrips, thats both t-bar roof strips, both small strips for the edge of the t-bar, and the strips around the lower door too.
Total cost of this from the states is:
333.60 USD = 177.031 GBP, which is around the price of 1 strip :P
(currency conversion by XE.COM, this doesn't appear on my c.card bill yet so it may be a little more)

I've been looking through the online BGB, and when installing the small strip along the side of the t-bar glass it says "apply adhesive". Does anyone have a clue what kind of adhesive to use? Would this be a Toyota specific product, or will I find something down the local Halfords or equivalent?

If there's any interest, I may document the weather strip removal and install (digi camera etc).

Cheers,
Jim

a quick update:

the parts arrived monday lunchtime (not bad ordered from US on Wednesday!), and all check out correctly.

I finished work early yesterday and I couldn't help myself so I fitted the door seal and the big tbar seal on the drivers side in about an hour.

Just spent an hour and a half tonight doing the same on the passenger side (this time with digi camera to document), so just the small strips on the edge of the tbars left (maybe tomorrow if the weather looks dry. I would have stayed out longer, but the rain has been threatening...

Starting on writing up what I did, so I should be able to have something together by the weekend.

Cheers for now,
Jim

Seals

I had the exact same problem, adjusted the drivers window a bit, then replaced the seals that are on the glass t-bar bit, think they were £42 plus vat from toyota. Car is now leak free!

One final (I hope!) addition to this tale:

I received an invoice from Fed-Ex yesterday. Add another £60 to the cost of this little fix to cover VAT, duty etc.

:(

Total cost is no £245. This is still cheaper than from UK Toyota I suppose, but I may have not bothered with getting all 6 weatherstrips!
