Tax Disc Holder

Post by lffuller »

I don't know if anyone is as sad as me, but for ages I've been trying to source a Mk1 tax disc holder with the eagle on the back. I can't find anything at all, just those heavy metal ones with MR2 etched into the back in the Mk3 style. If I got some made, would anyone be interested in buying one? Let me know your thoughts.

They are being sold over on the 'other' mr2 forum.

I don't want to put a link because it'll get moderated.
.
but it starts with M and rhymes with R2oc.co.uk ;)

Yes, that is the kind of thing I had in mind, but I think that is the metal kind. I've found they fall off the windscreen after a while as they're so heavy! The ones I was thinking of getting were the standard plastic ones, which I would have created artwork for and got printed in a min. order of 100. It was worth the thought though.

Found this thread a few days ago and ordered one. Just got it and I'm very impressed.

You can have various designs and also have it personalised with any wording you want (subject to space of course). The guy that sells them is very helpful and gives a speedy service.

Would recomend it to anyone wanting to buy themself an early Christmas present.
