Was on COD4 all night! 2am to 10am this morning(not online play).

Can't see myslef on warhawk for a while. May try tomorrow if anyone else is gonna get online.

Problem at the moment with COD4 online is that everyone is getting online, so people are having issues getting on. I'm happy to wait TBH.

What do you think of cod4. I was thinking about getting it but I cant get used to aiming guns with the ps3 controls yet, I keep getting wacked on warhawk. Im still too used to a mouse and a keyboard! May get it though if its good, is the single player fun?

Awesome game mate.

Graphics are very good. Gameplay is awesome. The only disapointing thing is it's pretty short. But when you complete it you get a bonus level thrown in after the credits.

You get used to aiming mate. I've not been a big fps gamer in the past. But with everything, the more you do it the better you get.

 Quite surprised or do you prefer joypad to mouse/keyboard anyway? After you linked that originally i imagined running with the stick and aiming with the mouse would work really well

I have never used a keyboard/mouse, so its not really of interest to me. Mark wanted to try it as he said he couldn't get on with the joypad (though to be fair he didn't actually try it) and much preferred using a keyboard mouse setup.

Trouble is the splitfish has to emulate the joypad, so its not quite as instantaneous as you might think. There is some adjustment though. Mark basically gave up straightaway moaning that he couldn't change all the buttons. :-:

In summary: Unless it was absolutely perfect for him (which is impossible) he was never going to get into it anyway. :-:

When i used it, it wasn't too bad i thought, but i've played for years with PS joypads so i'm much more at home with that and couldn't see any really obvious advantage for me to use it.

Im going to give it a go. Im total crap at warhawk with the sticks, I get the perfect opportunity to blow something up, move the stick too much and the other player gets a great headshot. :(

Do let us know what you think of it. Tbh Mark couldn't see past the 'not being able' to choose what buttons do what. He really had this thing about the right mouse button being for walk forward. :flossy:

Everybody knows that right mouse button is alt-fire. Mouse wheel is for reload and wheel up and wheel down is next/previous weapon. Also, you should invert the vertical axis

Is anyone online at all today? Let me know.

Been spending all night on COD4 online. You only start off with Team Death Match and Free for all. You gotta unlock the rest by ranking up online. Now that will keep me going for a little while :)

Expansion pack for WH going to drop for Christmas :

http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/26/warha ... -dropship/

Sony has confirmed plans for a downloadable expansion to its multiplayer-only shooter Warhawk, echoing news broken last month in Game Informer magazine. The expansion, titled Omega Dawn, will drop in December, and will add five new industrial-themed maps -- all set at night for "added impact and tension" -- which Sony claims to offer the largest combat areas in the game so far.

That's all well and good, but we need new toys as well, and here Sony will include the KT-424 Combat Dropship, inside which you will be able to cram seven soldiers, a pilot, and a ground vehicle for efficient, if not terribly comfortable combat fun. The dropship also packs a new weapon, the MBEC-3 Heavy Support Cannon, which if anything certainly sounds impressive, and the new vehicle will be usable on any of the existing or newly added maps, which incidentally will support all of Warhawk's different game modes.

Sounds pretty :+:
