MR2 GT-T-bar in bright red for sale

1998 MR2 GT T-bar in immaculate condition. This is a fantastic example of a great car and a good opportunity for an enthusiastic buyer. This is a very reluctant sale. I am getting a company car and can't really justify having 2 cars.

This truly is a great car in excellent condition and lots of fun. It is the final revision (rev5) of the SW20 model. It was originally owner by a lady who was a member of the MR2 drivers club, which is where I found the car. As a member of the club, she was obviously very enthusiastic about the car and looked after it very well. I have maintained that enthusiasm for the car therefore it is in perfect condition, both mechanically and aesthetically.

Details:
UK Car, completely standard apart from K&N air filter
GT T-bar, 1998 'S' plate
2.0l engine
Bright red paintwork
Full leather interior
81,000 miles
Tape player and CD player
Full Toyota service history. Last service was October 2007.
MOT until August 2008
Tax until March 2008
I have the covers and sunshades for the T-bar roof
I believe this car has every extra available excluding air conditioning

My company car has been ordered and delivery is expected mid-late December.

If you would like any more details or would like any more pictures, please email me at [email protected].

Offers around £6000

Seems priced pretty high given the time of year, and milage.

Just for reference, about his time last year I sold my 98' S-reg Beige Mica Rev 5 (tintop) with 51k miles on it for less than that. And that was a BEAMS (VVTi) version which generally go for more as they are a bit rarer.

Good luck with your sale though!

I listed it quickly this morning. I did a quick search on autotrader and the the Mk2 is still going for up to £7k. Given the condition of this car and the price I paid, I made a quick decision.

In my opinion, the Mk2 revision 5 looks the best - especially in red!

I have no urgency to sell and am very open to offers....

I know... shame that.

It looks a nice car.

Why don't you tell him how much it SHOULD be sold for?

This is my last post on the matter. Let him sell it... [-X FFS

Did i say it wasn't a nice car? reds not my colour though.

I'm not stopping him selling it, simply saying you'll have to find a VERY keen person to pay that for it.

therefore, i'll say what i like.
