Little Update

Post by tom_snelling »

Been quite busy in the time that I have away from work.

I have managed to get two new front wings in my colour that are rust free for £100 for the two (I said I reckoned I could do this but no-one believed me!) and also got a rear bumper to replace my broken one.

I am mid way through fitting the wings, I have done one but the bolt holding the wing to the sill has snapped.... :(

I am also starting to refurbish my wheels, there are some pics of the spare below....

The wheel looking brilliant. What's your technique for refurbishing them?

They are very simple to refurbish.

Just sand down to smooth all over, then a couple of layers of primer.

Then a few coats of silver and then lacquer.

Thats it. I used a hairdryer in between coats to help it dry quicker.

Only four more to do!!

Thanks for the info. I really must do mine. I put some Wolfrace 15"s on mine, but think I actually prefer the original teardrops I took off. Just need to work on all 5 of them!
