Yup, It's normally open late too... And fairly reasonable (for Guildford Prices!).

Enjoy yourself tonight chaps! And stay safe!

Top night, great route, good laugh, nice one Malcolm :thumright:

Apologies to anyone I offended by turning up the VXR: I didn't see the post that was made about it being MR2s only as I live over on ROC so simply presumed that the invitation posted there was to all ROC members, not just MR2 owners. Fear not, it shan't happen again. Sorry if I ruined anyones night, but thanks to all who made the effort to chat with the Vauxhall owner, top bunch of people. 8)

Oh, and a big :thumleft: to the coppers in the patrol car that stopped: Best two coppers I ever met.

The looks on some of the faces that we drove past in the small hours was fantastic!

Got back to Essex after 4:00. Work today, just woke up after watching telly through eyelids this evening.

Well what a night. First run was spectacular for the pace, second run was at the back and dropped off the pack after a wrong turn. I understand the person in the Red Mk1 in front of me has only been driving a couple of months, in which case, I am impressed (as a driving instructor myself, I am proud when any of my students can do that well within a short time of passing). Careful in the wet mind! Dried out again for the last leg, a bit more tame this time but still excellent fun. Excellent route (how did you find so much road without a speed camera?) and an excellent bunch of people. Nice friendly local policeman was an unexpected bonus. Good drive back to Essex as well, got a bright clear full moon once over the river. Roof down, engine on song, bliss!

A great night out. Looking forward to the next one already. Many thanks for organising this.

I'm glad everybody had a great time, despite the spins, the BIB and getting lost (including myself over shooting a turn off).

Big thanks to everyone who turned up - 21 cars in total, couldn't believe so many people came out at midnight. People from Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Essex to name but a few.

Big thanks go to Chris (LimeyMK1) for leading the pack and keeping everyone in the right place.

Big thanks to the really cool BIB: friendly appropriate police work there.

The next Midnight Run will not be until next year. Will be scavanging the diary for the next appropriate date and will keep everybody updated in due course.

Munnsy, nothing I can do about it - its just ridiculously loud - and I love it!

Not passed a few months but only had a MK1 a few months - was very impressed as well. Not the easiest run to do (let alone at night) and for a first meet - was very impressive.

Yup, Tiamat's Loud. But it's fantastic when you get lost and need to find the pack of Mk1s again!!!

She doesn't post up here much but has told me she had great fun and thanks everyone for being so welcoming on her first meet... :thumleft:

Would that be your sister? if so, I can understand why everyone was so "nice" :-$
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

He he, either that or follow the various sounding dump valves..

I had a top night - don't think i've driven that hard for that long before managed to scare myself with some serious understeer on the long uphill sweeping left hander (scene of the spins iirc) now i understand what people mean about the strange handling characteristics of the toyo's

Just two.

A 180 and a 360.

Was on a bend following a smattering of rain.

I also had a deer run out infront of me as we passed Goodwood. Given my history with these road terrorists I was naturally quite nervous then and thereafter.
