Lovely Rev1 GT T-bar turbo FOR SALE

Post by oddshoes »

I am putting my pride and joy up for sale which I have owned for just over a year now. I really need to start saving to move out of my parents place, as I am 25 and am the oldest out of three and the only one still at home.

My Cars Specs
She is a Rev1 1990 on a H plate GT- Tbar Turbo so is all singing and dancing in the way of specs. She has 146,500KM on her which is about 90,000 mile not bad for a 17 and 1/2 year old car. She is also in Astral Black and looks fairly stock, the paint work and bodywork is in very good conditon for the year. Veiwing is a must and you will be so surprised by the quality of this car.

Exterior
OEM Rev3 front splitter,
Raybrigs Headlights,
Gold toyota badge,
HID's,
LED sidelight bulbs,
JDM front inducators,
Rev1/2 Rear blanking panel,
Volks racing Cultra's (rare alloys) in Black and 2 new front tyre Falkin ze512's 2 months old,
OEM mud flaps and A
Smaller front number plate than in the pictures.

Engine and Brakes
She is still pretty stock apart from
Blitz Decat,
Apexi induction,
Moongoose system soon to be changed to this
Image
it is a greedy system by all acounts, I also still have the stock system;
Magicoor KV85 leads,
Splitfire fire multispark,
Uprated Sparks (NGK irridaium),
Samco hoses in blue and some engine dressing the dump valve has gone and been returned back to the stock BOV that you can see in the pictures below
Front and rear Motrioia struts,
Uprated front and rear break disks with OEM brake pads (£100 from Toyota)

I cant think of anything else that is on it but I have loads of bits and pieces for it at home.
Tax is up at the end of Feb08 and MOT in May08 if needs be I am happy to put her in for another MOt so that the next luck owner will have a years MOT, which I didnt get when I bought her.
As I have said this is my pride and joy I have spent alot of time over this car and also alot of money roughtly £4k buying bits and peices for her. I have enjoyed my time owning her and going to some meets and event but I need to start saving money, she will be turly missed.
This is not a fairwell to the mr2s but just a postponment untill I can aford to own / run and enjoy a turbo again.
Image

I bought her from a dealership back in September of last year (06) and paid £3.5K for her then since then I have changed a couple of things and spent another £4K on performance mod and parts and she should be running I would think about 240bhp at the fly.

Please feel free to call me on 07971783726 if I do not answer I might be working as I run two jobs but feel free to leave a message and I will get back to as soon as i can. Please also feel free to check my feedback sore to see how people have rated me.

I know the price on her is a bit high but she is a stunning example as some people have said and I am sure more will if you know anyone who knows me or the car.
Anyway I am going to be selling some if not all of my mods that I have bought for her over the past year, so she will be sold as stock (well as oringal as you can get nearly 18 years later) for a lower price of around the 2.7K -ish figure.
Would there be much more intrest in her then would you think?
She would still retain the list below at that point of sale

- Adjustable front supension inserts (not sure on make) & rear Koni ajustable supension insert
- OEM rev3 front splitter (I sourced from a member on here)
- OEM T-Bar shades (I sourced from Ireland)
- Cat 2 Immobilizer (good for insurance)
- Tracker (very good for insurance and only £130 for annual subs)
- OEM side inducators (but with LED sidelight bulbs)
- Standard OEM exhaust system with gutted CAT (not blowing either)
- Engine dressing (minus Samco hoses but with fairly new magicore HT leads)
- Uprated Front & Rear brake disks, with new OEM brake pads only fitted last weekend (£100 worth off pads alone from a toyota dealership)
- I am going to try to get hold of rev1 OEM alloys as well
- I am also going to put back in the standard headunit which I have and also
- try to soruce a rev1 steering wheel and boss

by the way spelling isnt my strongest point if you hadnt relized lol......

Hi there, I've been searching for a black GT Turbo Tbar for about a month now. I just thought you might appreciate a bit of constructive feedback on your car? It looks fantastic for a start, a really nice car.

However, £3k can now buy you a reasonable rev 3 tubby, a mint rev2 or the best rev1 on the planet.

That's nothing against the cars, it's purely the state of the market at the moment.

In my opinion (and of course that's all it is) i wouldn't start stripping bits off it to try and lower the selling price, i think you should just wait until either the market turns or you find someone locally that's prepared to pay a premium for a mint example.

If you wanted to sell your car quickly, then you'd have to look more to £2250, which would be shocking for a car of your quality.

Best of luck with the sale, all i can say is that i'm glad i'm buying and not selling :thumleft:

its only worth what a buyer is prepared to pay, the right buyer just hasnt seen the car yet
yes maybe you could get a rev3 for this money but it certainly wouldnt be a mint well cared for example like this obviously is]
unless you are looking for a quick sale mate i would hold out personally, its just getting lazy ass buyers to view the thing
