My 85 MR2

Post by RichardMorgan »

Please don’t laugh, I own a mr2 mk1 first registered in 1985, reg no c422ppj, just lately I have had too leave her at a family members address, of course like all the mr2 mk1’s she gets plenty of attention but on three occasions passers by have asked my family member if they can have a good old nosey round and on each occasion these people have said that it was great to see that she had something extra original about her now my family member cannot remember what it was they were referring too and I am completely stumped at what it could be, I was wondering if you could throw any light on the situation ,please please reply if you can as its driving me crazy….

Sincerely debbii

He is on/runs another site IIRC, gets emailed from individuals and relays the post here. (for expert advice

He was the MK1 Club webmaster. So he gets lots of emails from people with MK1s from all over the world.

Sorry, my crystal ball is off for a service - I've tried my magic-8-ball that came with my Sugar Puffs this morning but I dont think 'Go For It' really helps any of us very much.

Perhaps some pictures of the car might help us? Or even the tiniest hint of information about your car other than it's type and registration.

Richard was formerly the MK1 Club magazine editor, and is MK1 Club webmaster so any queries that come into the club (MK1 Club) via the website Richard posts here using his logon, then passes the link to this forum back to the original questioner
Richard is not a forum user himself (i seem to remember him telling me he just doesn't like the idea of it!!) but does pass on any queries here, this is the reason for the enigmatic posting but never any replies from Richard himself
