Finally..

Post by fozzy rev3 »

At last..
..the work is complete and the wheels are on.. \:D/
I brought the 'Works' alloys on ebay, and they needed a total re-furb job doing on them. In three pieces, filthy, and wet sprayed in silver with no 'flanged' locking nuts for the x144 bolts that held them together.. :-s #-o

..so, sandblasting, powder coating and .45p per locking nut later.
(..40 man hours later and alot of elbow greese and tears..) here they are.

Also new Falcons 452's front and rear.. My heart was missing beats when tyres were being fitted - but they all sealed perfectly, but it could have gone oh so badly.. :pale:

So heres some pics - shes running 1.2bar and 280 @ the wheels. 8)

The wheels spoil the car but the rest of it looks nice enough.

As long as you like them and all that...

...I knew there was someone I was forgetting to ask before I spent all that time refurbing my wheels and putting them on my car to give it some 'jap slag' kudos... #-o #-o

..perhaps, as I have a bad back, I could drive up to you, and you could help me take them off?? :-k

..see you next Tuesday!
