IMOC down again

Post by Tiamat »

IMOC was down most of the morning for me. Is everything sorted now?

Is it another Jam / custard imbalance?

If so may I suggest a sponge interface between the two to create a firewall?

Jaspa has suggested Victoria Sponge for its seperation qualities.

Sponge?! Will that have the insulating properties we require?

I'd suggest a slice of my Mums fruitcake. :-k

I fear there will be more. I'm sure there is something up with the server.

the downtime is a hardware problem. your clock is a problem with your profile. I would guess that as the machine has been restarted, it's resynced it's clock with an external NTP server.

Yep, as Alex has said it looks like may be an intermittent hardware problem that is causing the site to go down.

We're discussing this with our hosting provider.

Toyota tried sponge on the mk1 rear arches and it just made things worse. Can't really see that it'll help the situation.

wasn't victoria sponge, the engineers were amateurs. plus i am not sure of the jam / custard exposure of mk1 arches.
