Ahead of people starting seperate threads, following recent discussions on IMOC, I would propose that people place SENSIBLE comments on the rules together with any requested changes in this thread.

I am not proposing you re-write the rules, rather you tell Admin what you want to see in the rules and why.

This is not the thread for raising individual issues i.e resurrecting the account of an individual, or anythign specific to one persons account, but for the general rules of the Forum.

Lets have a sensible discussion.

Any off topic posts will be dumped immediately - I want this to be a sensible and seriosu thread.

Just for those not familair with "the other thread" and when we refer back in due course, can you clarify exactly what you mean by "multiple warnings in any given time period"?

if someone falls foul of the rules say 3 times inside 5 mins - it's still falling foul 3 times - so 3 warnings = a ban (under the new rule 19 )

given the timescales it may not be possible to send individual warnings for each offence.

so be careful if you want to break the rules (in quick succession) - as you may get banned immediately upon referral to the rest of the mods for a vote.


play it safe.... test the water and get a single Formal warning.. before deciding to continue in your chosen course of action.
