Hey John,

Would be good seeing you there

The discounted prices usually stay up until about a month before or a certain number of attendies are confirmed.

BaT T&C's wrote:
* For events booked over 28 days in advance, a 50% deposit may be given.

* Where a deposit payment is made, the balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the event. If the booking is made by credit card, you card will automatically be charged 7 days prior to the event..

* Provisional bookings show an interest in attending the event. They do not guarantee a space on the track day.

* Provisional bookings will be confirmed only once payment is received in full, or with a 50% deposit if the event is over 28 days away.

* Places are sold on a strictly first come, first served basis.

I prefer the Coastal Circuit primarily because it's *slightly* kinder on brakes and contains the (laguna Seca-ish) corkscrew. The GP bypassed the corkscrew by going left up to the hairpin after the first left-hander of the corkscrew.

Check the interactive circuit map (hover the mouse cursor over the circuit name for individual layouts) on th BaT site for the different layouts:
http://bookatrack.com/-p2?756&9

It's entirely up to you wich circuit to drive. I have seen two different N/A's drive the GP ciruit and have loads of fun regardless. And we have seen other N/A's drive coastal which for them was just as rewarding.

I wasn't able to test Betty on the circuit as the manifold bust on route to Anglesey. It was fortunate we had the SC with us, so it got put through its paces. We will have Betty and the SC there again.

Get a 50% deposit booked down ASAP to get confirmed on whichever circuit you want to do :thumleft:

PS - you can always do the ring next year when we do our Euro Track Trip

I hope slambert is doing the sighting laps again :+:, not that there is anything wrong with Howie doing them, but I've never had my brakes smoking after sighting laps before  :+:

I think its funny watching Howie in his diesel Vectra leaving folk in theoretically much faster cars way behind him on sighting laps

DING - But Slambert at Rockingham (in his Octavia, which is a fairly quick thing) was just flying on the last couple of sighting laps he did.

In summary : Setting lap records on sighting laps :+:
