rev3 uk n/a tbar!

Post by mikee66 »

Well folks it's time for me to say bye to the world of 2 seaters, They just ain't practical enough for me anymore :(

Uk revision 3 tbar
The differences with the revision mr2 to the earlier models are quite large, Rev3's have a more powerful engine at 173bhp, bigger brakes, side impact protection, round rear lights, body coloured side strips and sils, Nicer spoiler, better suspension and it's also lower as standard and has 15" alloys as std

mot'd for 8months taxed til the end of the year
lady owned before me by a woman who is also a member of the owners club.
new tyres all round recently
new windscreen
sony mp3 headunit
new tbar seals (£400)
Full leather interior with no rips!
Drives PERFECT! I've had six mr2's and this is the best driving yet.
Apart from the stereo this is totally standard!

This is a great example of a modern classic. and i'll be very sorry to see it go but we just need something with a back seat and a bit more practical

Looking for 3k ono and will consider a swap for something more "normal" lol

pics make it look a bit pink but thats due to a shitty camera! There is no fading on the car at all!

Nice car, free bump! (Well its at the top anyway...)

Can I ask if the LSD is standard fit or aftermarket?; never heard of a Rev3 N/A with a standard LSD (only option on Rev5 I thought... :-k )

I really don't know mate, was just under the impression it wasn't standard...! So don't take my word for it... Lots of conflicting ways to check, but short of pulling the gearbox out for a look, its really hard to tell!

Don't think it really detracts much from the car / price in anycase.

LSD became on option for UK cars from revision 4 - at least, that's the earliest date the LSD appears on the EPC. The differential that Toyota used in the S54 gearbox is a torsen type (TORque SENsing) and notoriously difficult to identify!
