Doubt I'll make it this time. Probably working and I have a few new bits which might be going on the car this weekend if they get here before Friday.

Pondering whether to go down to the Midlands on 20th for the MR2 sprint day. Think Patrick Mortell's keen on getting some BEAMS MR2's there.

If I change my mind I'll give you a shout -think Shanes phone list is still in the back of the car.

Have a good one.

McJinxy you know you are welcome up in this part of the woods anytime.

Your only a sausage away :thumleft:

Mind you it was maybe a surprise visit to Mrs Ingrams you had up your sleeve.

What comes around goes around so dont give us your address or you never know who might turn up on your doorstep or raid your shed for a few parts.

Anyone is more then welcome on this run.

Might be one of the last for the season.

just home from the run Shaun, Watty and myself Great weather this time. we got to the ski centre and parked up and took some pics went into the car to move it, no can do the car would not turn over, to cut a long story short the immobiliser had packed in Shaun and i removed the cowling and lower panel to gain entry to the immobiliser wiggled the wires and the immobiliser was working then it was not, decided to phone the AA
they send out a local guy he turns up and it was obvious that he was not interested in fixing the fault he then phones up for a recovery truck probably that would be another hour or so to wait. So we decided to have a go ourselves twenty minutes later the immobiliser has been bypassed and the Mk1 is alive again, so how come this so called professional could not or would not get us back on the road again we had done half the job for him before he had arrived apart from that we got some fantastic pics across loch monarch

Another great day out in the 2s.

Bill don't worry about the immobiliser it all added to the day.

Great run up and the weather was fabulous. Will post a couple of pics when I get time.

Jinxy, you will see what you guys missed that day because of the weather.

Bill, maybe you and I could become a break down service, I am sure we did better than the AA!

Great tea in the end and I was starving and the run back to Keith was most enjoyable as the mk1s minced the twists. I think Susan was a little squeamish :D

Thats almost it for the season never mind we will all be busy next year.

Bill - hope you get the immobiliser sorted out and look forward to catching up with you and May shortly.

Mark - (watty) is now in Skye for a couple of days. Lucky sod.

Catch up with you soon
