it is quite possible to get whiplash injuries in a 10 mph shunt, though they are probrably trying it on.

Whiplash does not usualy show up until some hours after the accident.

Take photos of the scene asap showing no skid marks.

Why did you

"get no response from the car"? Are you saying that the brakes failed

(be carefull, driving a car in an unfit condition.

.

.

) or that t5he car skidded under moderate braking

(be carefull, driving withoud due attention to the road conditions.

.

.

) or that you simply didnt brake in time

(due care and attention)
I am not trying to be a pain, but if you run into the back of another car you need a damn good excuse!
When someone ran into the back of my last tubbie it wrote the car off and gave me whiplash.

It cost me a lot of time and effort to source a replacement car, I lost loads over the insurance, and it generaly bu88ered up my time for a good month.

The people you ran into are probrably more pi$$ed off than you are.
