Hate to say it but I picked up mine with immaculate bodywork (front wings new and rear arches replaced with full respray) and no rust on her for £1050 with tax and ticket and spares

Trust me, yours looks a beaut...but sadly folks on here want an uber bargain all the time - look at the mk2 tubbies being offered for peanuts and you'll see what I mean :(

IMHO say less than £1.5k but I think you have an uphill battle on your hands if the rear arches are going (as generally the front arches and sills ain't far behind) and this summer has been a beeee..arch to sell a T-Bar as any kind of a bonus "good in the sun you say...what's that then guv?"

60k miles is a real plus though (though frankly most those I know are perfectly happy with 50 squillion miles if it comes with receipts to back up the Mr T lovin').

My advice....keep it...love it...never sell it....you will never get back what it's worth to you. If you have to sell it cheap - sell it to someone that's going to love it....it's the only way you'll sleep at night! :(
Why thank you - I grew it myself you know

Hi - I wouldn't let it go for less than £1500. The mileage alone is a huge plus factor, having half the mileage of a typical example and probably half the abuse. Why not get the arches done.

Dont let that go for less than £1500 mate, the rear arches arent too bad (about the same condition as mine) and look repairable without cutting the arch out, just get them cleaned up, rust killed and new lips welded in, should be far cheaper than the usual new arch route.

Assuming you got that sorted, and there was very little other rust on the car, I'd say ~£2k was about right.... Prices of Mr2's always take a dip towards autumn / winter, for obvious reasons...

I can't believe you are having soo much trouble selling this, it looks in much better condition than most of the ones I looked at. I'm guessing it's got the 80's blue interior?

I'm soooo tempted but I just know I'd have to not only sell my current car, but probably get divorced as well......

Dont accept anything less than £1701!

I bought mine with 64k on clock in May, for £1700! Rear arches have bubbles!

Dont let it go for pennies!

Robbed? Excuse me?

Lets see, 2 owners from new, 64k, full service history, rear arches starting to go, brand new clutch and cambelt done 1500miles before i bought it, immaculate everywhere else, I think not!

The car wasnt currently for sale at the time, so I think I got a real bargain.

Or do you think you should pay xxxx all for a car thats got low mileage and excellent condition?

I agree - but more than that you have a really good example of a mk1 that will cause far less hassle and expediture in the long run :thumleft: . Wish I had bought somethign low mileage first time round; £1700 is a bargain compared to how much cash these cars can soak up if neglected.

Robbed , i dissagree

I would love a low miler but as i have 2 at mo i dont think i can push out to 3 ,

I think all mr2's are far to undervalued that hasn't always been the case i bought my fist mk1 in 97, g reg t-bar and it had 70k miles fsh superb condition and it cost me 6400 GBP  ,this was not the dearest at the time but i thought it was the best for the money , that car is still going and is now on 96k thats only 26k in a decade
Mk1b White T-bar SC 1987, Mk1b White coupe Jan90, Mk1b White coupe Jan90 (spares), Mk1b Mica blue T-bar Mar90, Mk1b Mica blue T-bar,full climate control,Jan90, 5 mk1's :)
