mk1 respray

i am going to respray my mk1 but to keep the price down i wasn't going to go for toyota white as any white will do

now a few months ago some gave me a weblink to a place doing cheap paint the sold just standard white, red and black

i cant find the link can anyone enlighten me

If your budget is that tight Nick, I would seriously think about holding off for a bit. The cost of the paint in the grand scheme of things is going to be next to nothing. You consumables are likely to cost a fair bit more (filler, wet and dry, masking etc)
I'm not sure what it costs a litre these days but it can't be that much. Shop around a bit to get the best price. Also, what was this cheap paint? Was it 2 pack, cellulose, acrylic?
You need the right stuff for the job or you could have major problems with reaction and what have you.

no the paint is not that expensive, but as it wasn't mixed to toyota 043 and i think it was transit van white it was half the price

anyone, im sur it was some one on here that gave me the link, im after cellulose white paint from an online supplier

Look at the ebay shop 'centralcarproducts'---they have 5litres diamond white (Ford colour,I think) for only £45.
Cellulose mixed to your specific colour costs around £30 PER LITRE now adays (and difficult to get due to new regs)...so I should snap this up if you don't mind departing from the factory colour.
PS 5litres is about right for a mk1 so you have some left over for future touch ups,etc

when i did mine i bought 3 litres of cellulose for about 85 quid, and had some left over.
