Jinxy, you are a top man.
I have booked you in with Mrs Ingram for next year so no worries there, I don't want Michael cutting your feet!
Keep up the good work at Shovell's, I reckon Jo's mum has got enough food to last you at least another week.
The lawn is growing nicely.
I have now heard from everyone who has made it home safely.
See you all shortly.

Well what can i say?
What a great weekend was had by all.
Great organisation
Great roads
Great scenary
But the best thing of all was the great friendly bunch of people that accompanied me and Elise on the trip.
I think im going to add them all to my Xmas card list.
If Elise agrees to write them out.
Stick us down for next year.
I've been messing about with some of the footage I took and uploaded Carl's snail crawling past a few of us http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?doc ... 3065298697
Google's compression does mess it slightly but you get the idea. Lovely motor, lovely sound
sounds like you guys all had a super time - my housemate (Jaffa) said he saw you guys and mentioned stopping to speak to some of you (mentioned Jinxy by name). He was the Johnstons Sweeper engineer.
Just realised it was 3xmk1's and the noble I clocked on the M90 on saturday.
Wish I coulda come with. Next time!
Yep, we met Jaffa at the top of the hill just before Huntly in the layby, thought he was a car jacker the way he sprinted up that hill..!!
You should have seen 4 x MK1's ( 2 white, 1 red and 1 blue ) a MK2 and the M400 Noble on the M90, I bet we looked awesome.
Shane, I think you have your hands full already for next year for SCENES OF SKYE 2008, any potential date as yet. Heres a provisional list already

Mike did you find the Coupar Angus road OK, my mate was stuck in Dundee for 50 minutes trying to head south.
Sounds like you guys had a great time and good to meet up with you.
Alan
Yes Alan thanks for that, it was a more interesting run up through Perth and through Coupar Angus, glad we bumped into you at Kinross. Well the god new for you is that we are doing it all again next year so make sure you get your name down early.............

Some dodgy looking local Jocks we bumped into along the way
And some we took with us
I think the word phished comes to mind
The least said about this the better, great eyebrows by the way
Guys the photos look great.
I have put a bit on scenes of skye 2008.
I have been out on a recca and have found some new and brill roads for next year. This will include going over the mountain pass to Applecross which is awsome and a tour of skye
I am working on the route in skye the morn.
I am in the Roadster at present and have covered another 400 miles Wow.
I am looking at a date around the same September as last time as most people have passed the summer holidays by then.
I am going to try to keep the numbers to the same as this year as it worked great so i think this will be full very quickly by the people who came last year.
Michael has designed a great art work for next year which we can use.
Catch you guys shortly
Shane & Susan.
Off for supper and refreshment as lots to recce the morn.
See you all next year if not before.
PS - Thanks for all coming last week i can never forget that trip.
Some fantastic photos above. Really great reminders of the weekend.
And what a weekend! It really was fantastic. Many many thanks to all of you (particularly Shane for some amazing organisation). Thanks from Sasha too - who is now in Turkey... grrrr...
Well, sorry I've not been online. I've still not moved into the new house yet. Even when I do, it'll be a couple of weeks before we get internet... And I've not been into the office yet either (probably tomorrow). So tonight I'll be on a friend's lounge floor again and I'm currently borrowing someone's internet connection...
So having been a tad busy since getting back, I've only just spent the last 10 minutes having my first look through the photos. I won't say how many there are (ahem... just over 3+4 times 8+2...) but many suffered from a bit of shake due to movement from the car and so probably two-thirds will go. I've gone through and quickly picked out a few (30) favourites. These haven't been modified yet other than resizing... a few shots need brightening etc though. When I've had a chance to remove the rubbish shots, I'll send out high-res versions to anyone that wants them (plus DVD of shots if you want it).
We got back to the parents at 10:30pm on Monday. So that's just over 12 hours driving (well, minus 2 hours for breaks) and 600 miles. The motorways weren't quite as interesting as the weekends roads...
So... onwards:
80's retro-chic...
Someone's tempted...
An unseen casualty?
The V6 Purrs...
And the Noble Growls...
Can't believe how warm it is!
The group shot
Brothers
Roving reporter...
Bossy reporter...
Running repairs
Peek-a-boo
Sorry these are so yellow. It was the lighting (couldn't set the white balance properly) - I'll sort this later.
Did you have fun?
Looks like it!
