Andy, we had 20 cars down for the last one and ended up with around 12/13. There is always natural wastage. .

This wouldn't be wastage of anything not forced induction would it?

40% losses seems a bit more than wastage to me!

Why thank you - I grew it myself you know

We had quite a few MK1s actually, it really doesn't matter what you drive!

There are always those who can't make it for whatever reason...

Yeah agreed, more power on a run like this really does nothing for you. Turbos, N/A's and Mk1's are all equally matched on the fun parts, but obviously there are clear differences when we hit the A/M3 for a stretch.

Anyone coming from Sussex etc again, there will be a mini convoy from the Shell Garage at Broadbridge Heath (on the roudabout by the Peugeot garage), leaving at approximately 11.00. Meeting there from around 10.45 onwards.

Count me in for this. It's worth it just to watch Ant prancing around with his tripod baying at.....er taking photos of..... the full moon.
Has anyone told Antstarr that they still don't have streetlights installed on the roads out in the countryside?
I've got a left hand seat going spare from Bramley if anyone is without their MR2 and wants to join in this run. :)

I doubt it, unless you've got problems

I don't think I've ever used more than 1/4 of a tank... I always fill up before anyway.

There are a couple of Shell Garages on route, two quite near the beginning and possibly one later on. I personally make sure I have a full tank of fuel so can head straight home afterwards.

I'm up for this. I may not have the 1.5 on the road, I should have the 1a on the road... if worst comes to the worst can I come in the Sky Insurance branded Shitsubishi FTO?

Nope. You can bring the FTO along, but it would have to remain in the car park and you'd ride shotgun. :thumleft:

Thats what I'll be doing more than likely.

Thanks for the offer Malc, I might take you up on that, but will wait and see a bit nearer the time. I'm thinking of avoiding driving them as I'll probaly just end up wanting mine back even more lol. I would probaly end up buying another one to see me through

No problem, just let me know.
If you do feel that way Ant, I know where there is a very reasonably priced Rev1 with quite a few modification parts to come with....
