Do you like having a quieter exhaust??!! I love it! :D When you pass someone, foot to the floor and all they get is a face full of noise.....Only to comment, W@nker!

With a quiet system you fly past them without them hearing a thing! I have found that a quiet car overtaking on the motorway at high speeds looks far quicker and more impressive than just a p00 load of noise  8)

You talking to me there Alex?

Ha ha lol!!!

No.....Your nasp actually sounds really nice.....Loud but there is no bass tone to it at all so all you hear is an angry bark 8) I would be a bit worried if a mk2 tubby sounded like that though

I think everyone grows out of having a loud exhaust at some point.....for me, 10 exhausts and 8 cars later i have finally thought to myself..."I want a civilised system 8)

mmmmmm shiney. =P~ =P~

Hats off for the effort

Just doing the same with mine as it has a good few spots of rust, ended up having to do right down to 40 grade to smooth out the blemishes. Just got the 400/600/1000/1200, rubbing compound and autosol/glym to go.

One of those things I wish I'd never started.....but glad of the end results

It is even more shiney than those pics now!

I would do your Nur Spec.......for a price  The Nur is a real sh1tter to polish on the car. Much better to do it off the car due to all the bends in the system 8)

Looking good :thumleft:

You've put in some serious effort to get it like that - more patience than I had with it! For 1/3 the price of a new one you've got one that looks pretty much brand new again. I'll be seriously impressed if you do get round to replacing all that 2.5" mild steel with 3" stainless though - it'd look awesome 8)

Just a shame about the dent in the RH can - blame the Japanese owner for that one!

I know

The dent was described as 'slight' by NewEra  Now that i have polished the system you can't really see any of the dent due to the glare of the rear box off the tarmac 8)

Sounds awesome too 8) Will be posting a vid in a bit!! Not me being chavvy  Just checking for blue smoke as my turbo oil seals may have gone....or i may have cracked ringlands :(

Yeah - their description of a few other bits and pieces on the car wasn't exactly accurate either - not going to go there again though!

TBH it's not noticeable when you're standing up anyway. Just when you're admiring your handiwork on hands and knees.

Am interested to hear it without a cat - Luke did the DP and new exhaust at the same time so I've only ever heard it restricted.

Hope your turbo/pistons are OK - at least you know Luke'll see you right if there is a problem :thumleft:

I won't see the right side of a £5k rebuild any time soon though  :(

I do hope it's just the turbo seals as otherwise i would have to take the car off the road for the minimum of a year whilst i earn enough to rebuild her!

one question if i may has your rev1 been lowered cos mine has and im wondering if i would get away with that dp2 owing to the fact that my road has a lot of speed humps.

Yep my car is lowered a fair bit but as it sits on 17's i don't have trouble with most speed bumps......
